a range of pre-crisis, crisis and post-crises services and support to
women and children and to the wider community._

PLAY THERAPIST – PART-TIME POST, **APPLY ON THE WEBSITE** HOURS PER
WEEK
(8 HOURS PLAY THERAPY, 1 HOUR ADMIN & 1 HOUR TEAM MEETING. PLAY
THERAPY HOURS CAN BE CARRIED OUT OVER A MONDAY MORNING, THURSDAY
AFTERNOON OR ALL DAY FRIDAY)
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
ESSENTIAL:
* Qualification and Accreditation by Academy of Play & Child
Psychotherapy or relevant academic qualification such as IAPPC or APAC
* Must have at least 2 years experience as a Play Therapist
* Trauma focused experience required
* Knowledge of Domestic Violence and the impact on Children is
desirable
* Intake and Assessment of all clients allocated to the therapist in
conjunction with the Children & Youth Services Coordinator
* Record Keeping
* Adhering to all policies and procedures of Women’s Aid Dundalk
* Working as part of a robust Child Support Services Team focused on
the delivery and support of Children & Young people impacted by
Domestic Violence
* Attendance at team meetings required
